Janet Hawken Robbins started her career as an ambassadress for the cotton industry traveling the world promoting cotton. In 1975 she began a long lasting career in the women's clothing industry and owned two stores in Memphis, TN. After a period of coordinating celebrity liaisons with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, she decided to add oil painting to her repertoire. She has become known for her woodsy outdoor and water scenes as well as her pet portraiture . Janet and her husband summer in Highlands, NC.
